Happy New Year beauties!! I have so much to look forward this year. Personal and blog goals for 2018 are all lined up and I can’t wait to conquer and be able to achieve them all. Who else is excited what this year brings as much as I am? Last year I decided to create my blog, originally named as hermakeupstash(dot)com. I gave up and stopped writing for months and my biggest mistake is not having goals or plans. I think this is one of the biggest reason why I hit downfall. I decided to write down my personal and blog goals for 2018. This will help me keep track of what will I achieve for this year. I hope this will serve as an inspiration to all of you.
Personal and Blog Goals for 2018

1st PRIORITY IS ME
From the past couple of years, I have been neglecting myself and basically, stop caring at all. I always put others first before me. And then at some point, I realize that I am losing myself. So my first goal for this year is to put it myself as my first priority.
As many of you may already know, I have a full-time job as an Optometrist Technician which I work 8-10 hours shift 5 days a week. It is really hard to stay on top of blogging plus working especially if you are exhausted from work. But if you plan your hours and days wisely it is possible. I used to write contents during my days off but end up not posting it because I have something else to do. When you plan ahead and stick to your plans the easier it is to do everything on time. I do recommend having a planner which I did to write down your schedule and be able to keep track with your agendas.
WRITE MORE CONTENTS
I used to write contents randomly so I ended up writing once or twice a month. Honestly, this is something that I’ve been wanting to change. One of my goals this year is to be able to write more contents at least two times a week. In my opinion, the more you write, the more people can connect with you. It is something that I have to work on and I am hoping that I can manage it all year round.
GET BACK TO SHAPE
This year I wanted to get back on track. Two years is enough for me to waste my money paying for a gym membership that I don’t even use. I am planning to workout at least 2 to 3 times a week. Eating healthy is a part of it, but it something that I have to work on. I can’t live without my rice, so instead of cutting it off completely, my plan is to eat in portion instead.
MORE TRAVEL, PLEASE!
After visiting Maine last year, I realized that I have been missing out. I wanted to travel more and explore places. Also, having a vacation helps me relax after working hard for months. It is a reward for myself. I already have plans for my next destination which I will be sharing in the next few months. I am really excited for this trip you will definitely know the reason in the future, so make sure to stay tuned!
These are just a few of my personal and blog goals for 2018. I have a lot more in mind but I would like to do it one at a time. I don’t want to overwhelm myself and in the end giving it all up. By the end of this year, I will be updating you on what I have achieved. I can’t wait to see what will happen and what this year brings me. What are your New Year’s Goals or/and Plans for this year?
